I was at a clients and noticed a replacement Dell monitor box. When I inquired, the client said it was the second replacement monitor in less than a year. The on/off switch on both previous monitors had failed and Dell replaced the monitor for free. Hmm - the on/off switch on my Dell flat panel was starting to give me problems so I logged onto Dell's web site, clicked on Support and then clicked on On-line Chat. A couple minutes later I had a free replacement monitor being shipped to me.
So if this applies to you, give Dell a call/chat.
