Last week I drove the 1200 miles to Needles CA where on 3/17/2007 I met up with some other 4x4 crazies and spent 2 1/2 days driving an old wagon trail across the Mojave desert.
It was great. Warm but not hot weather, interesting terrain and vegetation. I think the Joshua trees were the most interesting.
Good to go; good to be back.
